The RAF Association have a Remembrance Garden at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire where you can place Memorial Stones in memory of treasured loved ones.

Plez and I have decided that we would like to place a Memorial Stone in Maggie's name in the Garden.  The stone would simply be engraved with 'Maggie Pleasant'.

Annually the RAF Association holds a short and informal Service of Dedication at the Remembrance Garden at which a Padre from RAF Cosford blesses all the memorial stones and the crosses in the Garden, and the loved ones of all those individually remembered in the garden are invited to attend.  The date for this year’s service is yet to be confirmed, but it is likely to take place on a weekday in June, possibly 8 June, beginning at approximately 1130hrs.

If you'd like to be a part of our plan, either contributing towards the cost and/or simply attending the Service of Dedication in June and/or just being kept informed as the plan progresses, please let me know.  Any contributions received over and above the suggested total donation amount to the RAF Association (£250) would be donated to a charity of Plez's choice.
