Membership of the Association is subject to the conditions laid out in Article 5 of the Association Constitution, Section 2 of the Rules of the Association and the Association Bye-Laws, as issued from time to time by the Committee; please see these linked documents.
In addition, as will be seen at Note 2 on the rear of each application form, the granting of provisional membership will depend on confirmation of eligibility and the receipt by the Treasurer of a completed Standing Order mandate. Final confirmation of membership will be made on receipt of the first annual subscription, when due, at the end of the initial free period. Membership will be cancelled if such payment is not made.
If you are a retired member of the RAF Aerospace Battle Manager Branch, or any predecessor sub-Branch or Specialisation (e.g. Operations Support (Aerospace Battle Manager), Operations Support (Fighter Controller), General Duties (Ground) Fighter Control, etc), or were a commissioned Radar Supervisor, Fighter Director or GCI Controller prior to the formation of the Fighter Control Branch, please click the Retired button on the right. On the other hand, if you are a currently serving member of the RAF Aerospace Battle Manager Branch, please click the Serving button on the right. Instructions for onward transmission of each form are given at the bottom of the form itself.
Whether serving or retired, please do NOT send a joining fee; there is no joining fee at the moment and the current subscription is £15 (payable by standing order on 1 April each year). It would, however, assist the Secretary if you would include any other relevant details on the reverse of the form, or on a separate sheet (if necessary).
For Associate Membership applications, please fill in the serving or retired form (as appropriate) and forward it to the address given on the form. Please do NOT send a joining fee; there is no joining fee at the moment and the current subscription is £15 (payable by standing order on 1 April each year). It would assist the Secretary greatly if you could include any relevant details that would support your application for Associate Membership on the reverse of the form, or on a separate sheet (if necessary).
