Title: Air Defence Radar Museum - S600 Radar Control Cabin
Post by Dave Lowry on 11.12.2015 at 07:27:58
At the ADRM, RRH Neatishead, we have the Marconi S600 Transportable Radar and its Equipment Cabin on display. It has historical significance as it was the radar that was taken down to the South Atlantic in the RFA Sir Geraint and positioned on Canopus Hill, East Falkland, at the end of 1982. Later, it was moved to Mt Kent when the site was prepared.

Unfortunately, we do not have the 3xConsole Control Cabin. I am in the process of trying to locate it and, hopefully, get hold of it for display.

If any one has any leads for me, I would be most grateful.

Many thanks
