Death of Flt Lt Jon Minney
04.03.2007 at 18:32:27

I regret to inform you of the sudden death of Flt Lt Jon Minney on Saturday 3 Mar 07.  Jon was involved in fatal car accident early in the evening but few other details are known at this time.  As Jon was serving at RAF Fylingdales, any enquiries about the funeral arrangements etc should be directed to the On-watch Crew Cdr Ext 2335.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues; he will be sadly missed.

Neil, Janet and Eleanor Minney have asked me to post messages on to the internet forums expressing their heartfelt thanks for all the incredible support and kind messages they have had from the RAF, particularly at the funeral last Thursday.  They took, and are still taking, great comfort and strength from knowing Jon was so well regarded, much loved and that he had touched so many lives.

Thank you.
