Open Invite to Paddy Stevens' Retirement Party Mk III - 19 Jun 08 - London

Due to the outstanding success  Smiley of Paddy’s first 2 Retirement Parties it has been decided to hold another one for all those who missed out (and those of you who are crazy enough to want to repeat the experience) – BUT with the guaranteed appearance of the guest of honour this time!!!!  Grin

The date is THURSDAY 19 Jun and will follow a similar plan of a short pub crawl in the centre of London followed by food in a local restaurant and then more pubs, if required. Cheesy

What I can now say with absolute confidence is that the Pubs are great, beer excellent, the range of real ales available is impressive, the toilets are clean, the restaurant and food brilliant, cost estimates spot on, Flash’s speech very funny, Paddy’s leaving gifts superb – in fact the only thing that we haven’t rehearsed yet is Paddy’s speech…..

As before, the intention is for this e-mail/invite to reach as many of Paddy’s serving and retired friends and colleagues as possible, so please do forward on to your circle of contacts to try and ensure that we don’t leave anyone out.  Please also feel free to bring spouses and partners along.

For those of you that can’t make this new date, you may wish to consider showing your appreciation and regard for Paddy by supporting something very dear to Paddy’s heart – (and that isn’t his wallet) – but it is his Cricket Club and Macmillan Cancer Support….details can be found by following the link below....

….anyone spot any similarities to the, now famous, Jubilee Walk???????

We need to get a rough idea of numbers asap to inform the detailed planning, so if you can make it on Thursday 19 Jun – please log in to the Members Area where you will find my contact e-mail address and then e-mail me by return

Hope to see you on 19th  Cool
