A series of ales has been brewed specially by the Wolf Brewery to commemorate ‘The Few’, 2353 young men and women from Great Britain and 574 from overseas, who are officially recognised as having taken part in the Battle of Britain, of whom 544 lost their lives during the period of the Battle.  A donation of 10 pence per bottle from every purchase will be made to the Royal Air Forces Association’s Wings Appeal.

I can personally vouch for 'Freedom' which is delicious.  You can purchase the Battle of Britain beers through the Wolf Brewery website or from Sainsury's or ASDA.

If you prefer something non-alcoholic, what could be better than the Battle of Britain Tea?  To help celebrate the 70th Anniversary, the RAF asked The Rare Tea Company to make a bespoke blend. It is now available online or in most Sainsbury's superstores. 10% of the price you pay goes to the RAF Association Wings Appeal repaying just a little of what so many of us owe to so few; and to support the RAF museum. http://www.rareteacompany.com/blog/
