A researcher for KCL is researching a history of women in the RAF (and the Navy).  She is interested in the development of policy re female controllers being approved for the AEW in the early 1980s. At that time, the intention was the Nimrod but then, of course, became the Sentry instead. She is asking if any members of the Association know who was involved in this policy development? It would have been in the period of about 1981-1984.  The AHB has been of some help but she is keen to actually talk to those who were involved.
