I am currently researching the WW 2 experiences of my grandfather S/L W.G. Curtin O.B.E who worked as a fighter controller in 11 group at Hornchurch (1939-41), Debden (1941-43) and then 483 GCC between 1943 and 1945. Unfortunately my grandfather has now passed away so it is difficult to piece together his many photographs and memoribilia. I am keen to contact any members of his group/unit who may still be alive.
