Death of Fred Belsham

The following is an extract from an e-mail that has just been received by one of our members:

'It is with regret that I have to inform you that my father, Frederick Belsham has just died at the age of nearly ninety five. I didn't know if my sister had already contacted Fighter Control to let you know before now, but having just collected his mail & found the spring newsletter, thought that maybe not. He was so very proud to be a member, & to get some recognition of his work in the filter rooms during the war. We were very proud of him too. Hope this letter is to the right people, but if not, then I am sorry for any inconvenience, & please let me know if I should inform someone else on this matter.'

The e-mail was to the right people. I've reproduced the extract in full as I think it conveys Fred's thoughts on the Specialisation and the Association better than I could.
