Sad to report that another of our RAF Family, Andy 'Quiche' Lorraine, has had a devastating diagnosis and is facing major surgery 🙁

He has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and is hoping to have surgery next week (w/c 2 Nov) in Leiden in the Netherlands where he lives.

Quiche is happy for people to know what is going on and to be contacted by friends and colleagues - he does not appear to be a member of the Association's Facebook Group but is on Facebook as Andrew Lorraine.

Andy Wilkins and Odie Evans have been in touch with Quiche already so they may be able to tell you more or provide you with other contact details for Quiche.

I have received an update from Quiche which he is happy to share with his Fighter Control family.

Sadly the news is not good.

The tumour they removed was very aggressive and the smaller tumour is inoperable so he is now scheduled for chemotherapy and radiotherapy later this week in the hope to push the cancer into remission.

If he responds to this treatment and the cancer does go in to remission he has been told he may have a year or two.  However, he says he is fighting on.
